LIMS Systems Architect/Administrator
Join a growing biotechnology company to stand up its analytical testing operations centered around Viral Vector and Cell and Gene Therapy manufacturing. The LIMS Systems Architect/Administrator will work with the management team, lab users and vendors to configure the LIMS application to support and automate workflows and processes. This position will work closely with the analytical testing team and will be responsible for the performance, setup, troubleshooting of, and training for the LIMS system. This role will also play a critical part in designing and implementing innovative approaches towards creating an effective and efficient LIMS ecosystem that facilitates reducing cost, increasing capacity and reducing turnaround time.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct detailed discussions across lab and IT team to perform gap analysis.
• Connect out of the box capabilities of lab systems to laboratory business processes.
• Interface lab systems to the company ERP and Quality systems to achieve end-to-end business workflows essential to the overall performance of the company.
• Understanding of relevant regulatory compliance requirements for the organization.
• Maintain the integrity, reliability and performance of systems, particularly LIMS and revenue collection systems, document all events and actions taken.
• Ensure the LIMS and revenue collection systems comply with regulatory requirements and assist with compliance audits.
• Enforce LIMS and revenue collection system security measures, policies and corporate standards.
• Provide user training for the LIMS and revenue collection systems.

Job Requirements:
• 5+ years of experience as a LIMS Admin in a GMP environment and/or CLIA lab
• 3+ years of experience integrating instruments within LabWare
• Hands on HL7 implementation experience within LIMS is a plus
• Experience with revenue collection systems software is a plus
• BS or equivalent work experience in Information Technology or related discipline and/or a biological science discipline.
• 2 or more years of business process management, with Lean Six Sigma training very desirable.
• Experience with biopharma manufacturing environment preferred, but not required.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to translate complex ideas for ease of general understanding.
• Strong skills with Microsoft Office, particularly, Excel, PowerPoint and Vision.
