Summary

Recovery Centers of America is looking for an experienced Revenue Cycle Manager to join our growing IS Team. In this role you will drive revenue optimization by maintaining an accurate and compliant EHR billing system, ensuring all federal, state, and payer regulations are met. You will be a direct report to the Director of EHR with a dotted line to Patient Accounts. Customer service is key to ensure all customer’s questions/concerns/needs are addressed in a timely and efficient mannerEnsure the CDM is accurate and compliant with federal, state, and payer regulations

Process CDM requests received from Managed Care and Patient Accounts, researching references and regulations to ensure correct coding/charging through the CDM


Responsibilities

  • Maintain all ANSI X12 formats (277, 837, 835, etc.) in the EHR to ensure billing and cash posting is correct
  • Review/identify/analyze necessary CPT changes related to quarterly and annual AMA CPT updates and regulatory changes
  • Serves as a subject matter expert for billing and reimbursement requests/issues related to the EHR
  • Ad hoc data extractions from the EHR for various departments as needed
  • Recommend new/modifications of internal processes to serve new purposes, improve workflow, customer satisfaction and product quality
  • Identify root cause issues and escalate to Manager and Patient Accounts
  • Work with internal Business Intelligence team with report requests and changes to logic in existing reports
  • Test new reports or report changes to ensure data matches EHR ahead of moving to production
  • Effectively facilitate department and/or client meetings
  • Manage RCM Analyst in IS.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field or 5+ years in IS support
  • Revenue cycle management, healthcare accounting or advanced medical billing experience
  • EHR experience a must
  • ANSI X12 knowledge with the ability to understand 837 and 835 file layouts
  • Netsmart’s myAvatar and SQL basic knowledge/coding experience preferred
  • Management experience preferred
  • Healthcare setting experience preferred
  • Ability to communicate and negotiate with a variety of internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience working with IS ticketing systems
