Summary

Under direct supervision of a Talent Success Champion, the Talent Acquisition Sourcer focuses on the accelerated development of talent intelligence, sourcing top talent, and the consistent creation of diverse candidate pipelines in strategic focus areas to meet both current and anticipated staffing needs. The role requires the utilization of labor market expertise to identify trends and leverage knowledge, data, and competitive intelligence to develop customized and robust sourcing strategies that are creative and innovative.

Responsibilities

  • Conducts automated electronic passive candidate searches
  • Participates in engagement/intake meetings with recruiters and hiring managers as needed
  • Conducts a thorough prescreen of all prospects prior to presenting to recruiters
  • Stays current on hiring trends, competitor information and employment market conditions
  • Identifies and evaluates new sourcing tools as they become available in the marketplace and works with the Talent Acquisition Team to determine viable tools for future consideration
  • Provides updates to recruiters for strategic and hard to fill position

Qualifications

  • B.S. in life science or related field
  • Sourcing or recruiting in a professional environment or agency setting
  • Technical sourcing and research knowledge experience a plus
  • Healthcare industry experience preferred but not required
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; Basic computer knowledge and functional skills
