Job description

The Direct/Email Marketing Manager will be responsible for the management of campaigns and tactics designed to increase sales through targeted direct marketing campaigns and strategies. The Direct/Email Marketing Manager will create, execute, and manage a variety of direct marketing campaigns, integrating direct mail, text and email as appropriate to drive traffic to our website, landing pages, call centers, etc. with the purpose of generating leads, closing sales, and growing our relationship with new and existing customers through appropriate cross-sell and upsell efforts. In doing so, the Direct/Email Marketing Manager will analyze our customer database and program results to create new direct marketing opportunities and optimize existing programs.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage customer database
  • Pull/query lists for various marketing campaigns
  • Work with MarTech to build robust reporting dashboards
  • Plan contact strategy, execution, and measurement of direct mail/email campaigns
  • Analyze the customer database to identify new strategies for increased lead generation and cross-sell/upsell campaigns
  • Work with Marketing Ops to improve targeting and leverage models, outside lists, and artificial intelligence to optimize results
  • Understand design process and work with designers to execute overall look and feel across customer touchpoints.
  • Oversee multiple lead generation and remarketing campaigns, stage and schedule new campaigns, determine and segment audience targeting
  • Track KPIs at regular intervals and presenting reports
  • Analyze company's existing strategy and suggest improvements
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest best practices

Education & Experience

  • 3+ years of experience in B2B or B2C database management
  • 3+ years of experience with email marketing
  • 3+ years of experience working with direct mail houses
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite to include advanced excel skills, V-lookups, Pivot Tables, Dashboard software experience a plus
  • Strong data analytics experience
  • Solid knowledge of direct mail/email marketing with an emphasis on personalization and experimentation
