Position Overview: Registration/Accessioning Specialist – Mobile Molecular Testing LaboratoryLocation: Woodbridge, NJGENETWORx Laboratories located in Glen Allen, VA has become the leader in nationwide COVID-19 testing and will be expanding our testing capacity through the implementation of several mobile laboratories in major cities across the US which will focus specifically on COVID-19 testing. We are seeking Registration/Accessioning specialists to support our mobile lab in Woodbridge, NJ by providing the clerical support associated with lab specimen processing.Specimen accessioning and processing (Laboratory Receiving) is the section of the laboratories where specimens are received, sorted, entered into the Laboratory Information System, labeled with barcoded labels, and processed. Once the processing step has been completed, the specimens are forwarded on to the various sections of the Laboratory for testing.Urgently seeking candidates with immediate availability to start ASAP!Hours:1st, 2nd, 3rd Shift – Tues-Sat or Sun-ThursPT/FT Weekends – 12HR shifts Sat-Sun (AM or PM) + variable weekday shifts (FT)Specific Responsibilities:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
