Position Overview: The role of the Senior Sales Director for GENETWORx is to manage and develop a sales team through effective hiring, growth and management. The SSD is responsible for overall development of current territory markets as well as new markets, as well as the direct management of his/her personal accounts and business

Responsibilities

  • Talent acquisition, development and retention
  • Sales Team analytics, trend reviews, planning reports and integration/implementation of CRM platform
  • Monthly and weekly planning review and guidance.
  • Management Business Objectives implementation and review of execution
  • Business development and review of new opportunities and laboratory platforms, as well as strategic planning on pilot programs and targeted representative launch
  • Team and individual quota development to measure monthly and quarterly performance and representative development
  • Help manage budget and sales projections
  • Identifying and developing new market opportunities and payor targets for in network contract pull through
  • Drive effective communication and synergy with Sales and all other departments

Qualifications

  • Medical/Lab sales management experience required, preferably 5+ years
  • 4-year college degree required

  • Presentation and Sales skills: Can effectively put together an effective presentation and present the relevant material for the specific target audience. Effective in the sales process
  • Management skills: Effectively manages teams as well as large accounts
  • Computer skills: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, CRM
  • Training: Develops effective training programs through utilizing all necessary resources
  • Communication: Communicates well both verbally and in writing, creates accurate and punctual reports, delivers presentations, shares information and ideas with others, has good listening skills.

Work Environment:  Work environment may include professional offices, clinics, hospitals, or out-patient facilities.

Physical Demands:  Must have a valid driver's license. While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision and the ability to adjust focus.

Travel:  Travel frequently with overnight travel on a regular basis.
